Nothing is hotter in the education world right now than the massive open online course or MOOC. MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Course and is a model for delivering course online, free to any person with no limit on attendance. The recent development started from three courses offered by Stanford University in fall 2011, each of which had an enrollment of about 100,000.
